Famous 2026

Client Lead: Annika Walter
Copywriter: Kaymon Dwire
Graphic Designer: Tori Schulz

That’s a wrap for this year’s Famous team. Tackling a client meeting their very first day, they took on projects left and right with eagerness, dedication, and a sense of humor. From posters to brand guidelines to billboards, here’s what Famous has been up to.

Badlands National Park Conservancy

Event Refresh | Print | Media

The Badlands National Park Conservancy hired Famous to help promote its annual Astronomy Festival in July. Our goal was to boost astro-tourism awareness while celebrating the park’s rare night sky viewing opportunities and the wonder of space exploration. We leaned into the Badlands’ otherworldly terrain to develop a poster, postcard, and media suite for the event, which also marked the announcement of the park’s DarkSky certification. Over 4000 stargazers made it out to the event, with 620 attending the Friday night program alone.

SUFUDU

Recruitment | Print | Media

SuFuDu is a non-profit drumline with a distinct team culture—where no matter what you do, there’s a place for you at SuFuDu. Inspired by that motto, Famous developed a fresh promotional and recruitment campaign targeted at future percussionists. “YuDuYu” strengthens students’ sense of belonging by helping them envision themselves as part of the organization. We also created a “Dus and Don’ts” brand guideline cheat sheet to ensure SuFuDu’s social media presence remains cohesive and tied to their mission and values.

The Good Earth Farm

Name | Event Identity | Map

The Good Earth Farm is well-known for its weekly pizza nights. However, they wanted a tradition people would anticipate every year. Famous presented name ideas and poster designs for the farm’s new harvest festival—an annual celebration of the end of their growing season and the beginning of fall. Capturing the farm’s wholesome, nostalgic feel, we took a hands-on approach and used vegetable stamping as the basis for our art direction. Alongside the festivities, we designed a map the farm could use year-round to direct visitors during events.

Facsimile

Show Title is Facsimile

Show Branding

Alongside client projects, Famous spent the summer branding Ipso Gallery’s August show, Facsimile. Featuring work by Tim Rickett and Epiphany Knedler, Facsimile helps redefine contemporary western art through photography, found objects, and sculptures. We had the freedom to explore a range of creative executions while writing and designing the show, and even tied a few of our own Midwest experiences into the final product.
